Born on the 11th February 1997 in Diepkloof, a town in Soweto, Nasty C is a popular South African rapper, songwriter and record producer Real names Nsikayesizwe David Jr Ngcobo, Nasty C at the age of nine had already started to work on his rap game before relocating at a very tender age to Durban. At his early teens he had already mastered the intricacies of music production, adding his vocals to the beats he was making. He later was signed to Free World Music– a Durban based artist management company. He was given the name Nasty C by a producer whom he first worked with at the beginning of His career.

At a very tender age before he could even talk Nasty C lost his mother in a fatal car accident and was raised by his father and elder brother. His elder brother is a music producer who helped nasty C at the early stage of his music, with nasty C often referring to him as his inspiration.
On the 24th of may 2013 Nasty C released his first mix-tape titled “One Kid a Thousand Coffins”. He followed it up with his sophomore project titled C L.A.M.E (Levitating Above My Enemies) –Extended Play Version EP which was released on the 4th of April 2014. At this point he was growing in confidence and getting the attention of Hip Hop fans all over Africa. In the year 2015 he dropped a single “Juice Back off his mix-tape “Price City” in 2015. But his main success that year came from the release his chat-topping single titled “Way It Go” by DJ Switch featuring Tumi and Youngsta, winning him the 2015 South African Freshman Hip Hop Awards. In January 2016 he featured on Anatti and Caspper Nyovest’s single JUMP. Nasty C has also been featured by some Top Nigerian artists including Davido in Coolest Kid in Africa, and Runtown in a mash-up organized by coca-cola which they titled SAID. He was also featured in Hit single Particular which had voices lent from Ice Prince, Jidenna and american super star Major lazer.

Before he released his highly rated “Bad Hair” album in 2016, nasty c dropped a master piece single titled “Hell Naw” which sold a lots of copies on its release. The single was a hit and occupied no 1 position in many countdowns earning him a lot of popularity in Africa. On getting signed to “Mabala Noise Entertainment” he dropped his highly anticipated album “Bad Hair” for free on Audiomack. He later explained that was due to a sample he couldn’t clear from one song in time before the release. In December 2016 he released an extended version of Bad Hair, titled Bad Hair Extensions with the smash single “Allow” featuring the American rapper, French Montana.

After releasing top selling song Hell Naw and gaining positive reviews from his album Bad Hair Extensions He began to go international, getting recognized all over the world. When he visited America for the BET awards he decided to stop by Sway’s studios in New York for an interview and freestyle session on morning Hip Hop show, Sway in the morning.
With US radio star Sway Calloway having hosted top rappers and Hip Hop artists from all over the world including the likes of Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick lamar, Lupe Fiasco and Common in the past getting impressed by Nasty C was going to be a tough task. However, the sway in the morning host was totally blown away by Nasty C’s bars.
At the end of his freestyle, Sway was on his feet screaming in wonder, he was totally swayed be some lines dropped by Nasty C during the freestyle, reciting some lines as his favorite lines from the freestyle.
“My girls body is like a DJ Khaled album, nice features! Who does that? I should be giving all these dues,” Sway screamed into the mic.
After his freestyle, he was given a chance to pick any of his song to be played on air and he picked uok, a song dedicated to his late mother.
Nasty C Biography; House Robbery and Car Deal
In the month of September in the year 2017, Rapper Nasty C was left in a high level of trauma after thieves stormed his Johannesburg home, where they tied him and four others up at gunpoint.
The robbers unfortunately made off with valuables including a Rolex watch, laptops, tablets and cell phones.
In A report released by TshisaLIVE who were tipped by his close friend Pierre Ball it was stated that though the rapper was shaken he was also very thankful that no one was hurt in the incident. “Nobody was injured in the house robbery and everyone is just grateful that there were no injuries, because it had the potential to be much worse,”
After he began attaining global success, he bought his first car which was a Mhe mercedes-AMG GT which had the exact same colour as Riky Rick’s.. In a video posted by the young superstar, he talked about how he looks up to Riky and he would love to race King Kotini with his new machine!
In the same year 2017, Nasty C signed a new deal with Mercedes Benz and shared images of the car he was getting from the company with his fans. The Hell Naw hit maker is upgraded his ride complements of Mercedes Benz which pays the rapper to drive their cars. He announced that he was going to be getting a new Mercedes Benz from his “paid partnership with Mercedes Benz”.
