It was reported in July that Wizkid was working with international producer, Metro Boomin, who has produced songs for top artistes like Drake, winning the BET Awards for Best Hip-Hop Producer in 2018 and 2017.
Earlier this week it was reported that wizkid joined the very elite in the world music industry by being among the highest paid celebrities for a show when he earned a mouth-watering two hundred and fifty million (N250,000,000) to perform at a marriage in India. Despite this huge success he doesn’t seem to be slowing down, he reached another milestone as he was featured by one of the best award winning producers in the United States, Metro boomin.
The 13 track-album features a host of guest artists including Wizkid, who contributes to two of the songs, in ‘Only You’ along side Offset and J Balvin, and ‘Borrowed Love’ alongside Swae Lee.
Metro boomin had earlier this year hinted at retirement but seems to have had a change of heart and teased his fans with cryptic billboards messages bearing Not All Heroes Wear Capes placed in New York and Atlanta last week.
The top producer in 2016 was credited on charting hits such as ‘Bad and Boujee’ by Migos, ‘Low Life’ by Future and The Weeknd, and the 21 Savage collaboration ‘X’, taken from the duo’s 2016 EP, Savage Mode.
While in 2017, he worked on hit singles such as ‘Congratulations’ by Post Malone featuring Quavo, ‘Tunnel Vision’ by Kodak Black, ‘Bounce Back’ by Big Sean, ‘Mask Off’ by Future, and ‘Bank Account’ by 21 Savage.
